JARINVEST focuses exclusively on early-stage technology ventures in Europe. Before submitting, please ensure your project meets our minimum criteria. Applications that do not meet these requirements will be declined at initial screening, typically within five business days.
We review all applications with care. Even if your project is not selected, you will receive a formal written response from our investment team explaining our decision.

A 2–4 page document covering the problem, solution, market, business model, and team. This is the first document our team reads — clarity and precision matter.

A 10–15 slide presentation covering market size, product, competitive landscape, go-to-market strategy, financial projections and funding requirements. PDF format.

CV or LinkedIn profiles for each co-founder. We assess technical depth, domain expertise, and relevant professional background. Include advisors if applicable.

Initial submission
Send your introduction by email
Begin by sending a brief introduction email to contact@jarinvest.net with your executive summary attached. Our team will review your message and, if your project appears eligible, will send you a secure link to access our project management platform within 5 business days.
ⓘ Do not attach your full pitch deck or financial model at this stage. The initial email should be concise — one or two paragraphs describing your project and your funding ask.

Back office access
Access your dedicated project portal
Upon receiving your access link, you create your profile on our investment management platform. Your project file is opened and you receive a structured checklist of all documents required for a complete application. The platform is your single point of contact with our team throughout the process.
ⓘ Our platform tracks the status of each document, generates automatic reminders, and allows asynchronous Q&A between you and our analysts. All communications are logged and timestamped.

Documentary due diligence
Submit your full application file
Upload all mandatory documents through the portal. Our investment analysts review each document and may request clarifications or additional materials via the platform's messaging system. This phase is entirely asynchronous — you respond at your own pace, within the deadlines indicated.
ⓘ Incomplete applications are placed on hold. You have 30 days from the date of back office access to submit a complete file. After this period, the application is automatically archived and you must reapply.

Investment committee
Internal review and pre-selection
Complete applications are presented to our investment committee during a weekly session. The committee evaluates each project against our investment thesis and criteria. Projects that pass pre-selection are advanced to the final stage. All applicants — selected or not — receive a formal written decision via the platform.
ⓘ The committee meets every Thursday. Decisions are communicated no later than the following Monday. If your application requires additional deliberation, you will be notified of the extended timeline.

Final stage
Meeting with the investment team
Founders whose projects are pre-selected are invited to a structured conversation with our investment team — either a video call or an in-person meeting in Malta, depending on the stage of discussions. This is the opportunity to present your vision, answer in-depth questions, and discuss potential deal terms.
ⓘ This meeting is not a pitch — we will have already read your materials in detail. Come prepared to discuss the assumptions behind your projections, your technical architecture, and your vision for the company over 5 years.
